Excel Planning Guide for Camino Frances

Time of past OR future Camino

Portugese 2022,
Back in 2018, I found an interactive Excel spreadsheet in the resource section for the Camino Frances that listed every town on the route and allowed you to pick your stopping point for each day. By playing around with the file you could customize your Camino and find a route that met your daily walking goal. I found it very useful for breaking up back-to-back long days. It also gave you the net elevation gain for each day and other useful information. When you were done, you could convert the file into a pdf.

I have hunted around for this file and can not seem to find it. Does anyone know if this file is still available and where I can locate it?

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Another easy to use option I found last year is a free app called YoPilgrim. Got it @ the Google Play Store but I'm guessing it's available @ the Apple App Store.

Happy planning,
Bartman

Having a bit of trouble. Can you use the Camino Planner directly from (within) the Wise Pilgram app? And is it all compatible with the iPhone or is desk top needed?
Thanks so much!
No. Pretty sure it does not exist within the app. You need to get to the web page for the planner from Trecile’s link above.

Fail to prepare? reduce your risk by buying this book full of practical info.
2nd ed.
I downloaded data from a site (I think it was CaminoPlanner) and imported it into Excel. I was able to use the data to plan daily distances as well as put in notes regarding places to stay and costs. You can DM me and I can send you a copy of the file.
