Fly Madrid, train to Leon.Planning to start again next year in Leon. What is the best way to get there from Dublin.
Hi. I went Dublin to Madrid and bus to Leon but I think Santander is easier to navigate to Oviedo. You can actually get First Class on the some of the buses for relatively cheap which makes the journey more pleasant. I found Madrid Airport and train station overwhelming. Best of luck. Are you walking the French or the Salvador from Leon?? DanielPlanning to start again next year in Leon. What is the best way to get there from Dublin.
Hi Daniel we have just finished the Portugese Camino last week and I am planning to go back to do another week next year from Leon but I was unsure how to get there. I finished last year in Burgos but don’t fancy the Meseta.Hi. I went Dublin to Madrid and bus to Leon but I think Santander is easier to navigate to Oviedo. I suggest you reconsider.. I finished last year in Burgos but don’t fancy the Meseta.
Well the Camino in Dublin actually starts 25 km away in Bray (optional warm up leg) then as strange as it seems the best way is to Santiago de Compostela particularly as you save (on an already cheap fare) by booking return fare up front.Planning to start again next year in Leon.
