I’m considering this route on a solo trip in late September. I’ve got experience in the US, but am a bit concerned about way finding. Suggestions? Recommendations? Thanks!

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
I used the "Trailsmart" app for navigating the Dragonte. It worked well enough.
I also read the pdf describing the route and honestly i am not sure if i would have found my way with just that. The markings were very scarce in 2022, no idea if the improved since then.

While the route by itself is not dangerous in any way, it is quite remote and few people walk it. Personally i would likely not want to walk it alone and i was quite happy i found a sufficently crazy person to walk it with me.

Also: it was a great experience.

Stray away from being 'route focused' or 'way focused.' As one person already mentioned in this forum, getting lost is part of the journey and ought to be embraced. Let the journey take you where it will take you as opposed to you trying to 'control' everything. If you get lost for two days, this is joy, not tragedy as you will discover more in this manner. I wish you a few 'losing your way' experiences on your Camino. Chuck

I would be quite alarmed if someone got lost for two days on the camino! Two hours is OK and usually can be joy, at least after the fact. But not 2 days. See this thread, which really only applies to the less-travelled routes and not to the Camino Frances or any of its usual variants.
