Inspired by the thread about how to say "Buen Camino" I would like to ask another languagequestion, allthough it does not relate to the Camino.It concerns the use of different prepositions in expressions. Specifically I would like to ask what preposition you use in the expression:
"to be in love WITH someone".
In Spanish they say "to be in love OF someone;
In German they say "to be in love IN someone;
In Dutch we say " to be in love ON someone.
If you don't speak any of the mentioned languages could you tell which preposition you use in this expression. If you know any other examples of expressions that differ this much in different languages it would be interesting to hear them. Perhaps the use of different prepositions can give some insight in how different people's/cultures perceive the world

In French you would say "être amoureux/se DE" somebody - literally "to be in love OF them"
