Hello
I'm planning to travel the Camino by bike at the end of March. I'm getting the ferry to Santander and I'm not sure what the best way to join the Camino from Santander.
I'm either looking at cycling up to Burgos, or alternatively cycling South-West through the Picos. The problem is that both routes would take more than one day, and I would need to find places to stay (preferably camp) on route. Has anyone made these journeys and know of places to stay along the way? Are campsites open at this time of year in Spain?
Alternatively does anyone know of any public transport options that would be able to take a bike?
My other question is regarding the return from Santiago de Compostela. I would need to get myself and my bike back to Santander. The Feve train from A Coruna looks like a good option. Has anyone done this?
Thanks!
Guy
