Crowds on the Camino Sanabres in August?

Hi everyone!

I am cycling the VDLP right now and approaching Salamanca.

I knew to expect little people on the route because of the heat, but I am surprised by how little. In general I actually find it doable (leaving early and coming in early, plus biking in the heat is easier than walking).

Anyways, as I am approaching the Camino Sanabres, I was wondering if anyone has experience in doing the CS in August. Can I expect more people there or is it as desolate as the southern stretch of VDLP?

Thanks so much!

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.

I said August, but it’ll be the first days of September - time flies when having fun!

Hi, I am on the Sanabres now for four days, starting from Zamora. Today I didn't meet any peregrino. The previous days 2-3 person.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.
