On the Primitivo last year it went from clear to relatively thick fog on the Hospitales in MINUTES. In July. But the path was still obvious, so it was no issue. We were forewarned of the possibility, and also that it was NOT considered risky.
It’s why you check with your Hospitalero
the morning before setting out. They know the local conditions, and which of the weather forecasters are most accurate.
It can snow, rain, be foggy - or you could have glorious sunshine. A day or two before you’ll have some idea - not before.
