I will walk the Camino de la Cruz later this month and planning progresses well. There is even a cheap flight from Murcia to London on the 25th at 5pm. So I can finish the walk on Friday 24th, pass a celebratory evening in Caravaca de la Cruz before heading back to Murcia on the Saturday.
Problem: it looks like the bus options on a Saturday are very limited and very early which would mean 5 hours or more in the airport waiting for a flight.
Anyone found a way to make this journey (Caravaca de la Cruz to Murcia) in a more creative or interesting way way?

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Well, I thought I had!
I accessed the same website but through Rome to Rio. R to R offered 2 bus options both with changes but it looks like what you’ve found
is a direct and frequent service.
You may have cracked the problem for me!

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Hi, I walked from Orihuela to Caravaca late last month in beautiful weather. No issues with buses to Murcia at all even on a Sunday. If looking for cheap accommodation can recommend the Cathedral Hostel in Murcia which was €20 per night and perfectly located. Buen camino.
