A selection of Camino Jewellery
Sorry, I am a little confused. Are you just picking one color from the top four and using all the other colors below them, or are you looking for us to pick out several colors? I like the lower right (purple) color in the top four Reminds me of some of the sunsets

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Are you knitting the blanket? It got me thinking of making a quilt, it would be in white and blue in rememberence of the many tiles, I saw there. And a touch of green because of all the trees. And red and blue because of the Hortencias in bloom. And a hint of yellow due to the sunshine. I think it would make a beautiful quilt.

In the second group of the first post, the red on the bottom left. It reminds me of the red in the Cross of St. James.

In the second post, the the yellow at the very bottom and the blue just above it, the color of the way markers.

I was sure I was going to answer yellow before looking, maybe its because I am on this forum so much but the blues stood out

Edit like the other posters said probably because of the tiles and the sky always being such a source of amazement.

Yes.....but after seeing the suggestion of blue-and-white for the tiles, I'm very drawn to that idea too. I LOVE blue-n-white. But would it be a camino without yellow?
Thanks for the ideas.

I assume you are not carrying this with you??

The purple, bottom right, reminds me of the blotchy reddish hue of the skin under my blisters.

Not what you had in mind? Darn!

I will answer the thread question with a photo, taken on a rainy day in October 2014, just west of Burgos. The green trees in the foreground, the changing trees in the distance, the various colors of raingear, these are the colors I would choose.

grayland you assue too much! I am actually seriously contemplating taking the wool to crochet as we sit in bars - and on the two long flights.
However, I do like the idea of waiting until I have my own photos to draw inspiration from (loved yours MileHighPair)....and I also like the idea of copying tiles which would require more brain power than I would have available en route.

A splash of yellow, for sure.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Does no-one remember brown paths and grey stone buildings? (although, to be fair, these are things that can be seen on any camino - sounds like the tiles set apart the Portuguese from the others)
