We're nearing the end of our Camino, and I have an easyJet booking to fly to Geneva. When I booked, I thought I had booked a total luggage allowance of 23kg, which would have been ample for our two backpacks.
I have since found out that I cannot pool the two backpacks, it must be one bag.
So my question: where can I buy a cheap suitcase in SdC? It doesn't have to be fancy, and could just be a canvas bag, I guess.
I'll put the two backpacks in it.
Thank you!

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Find one of the several Oriental or China Bazar shops in either the old or new town. There, you can obtain something suitable to purpose, cheap.

It won’t last a lifetime, but it will be adequate to get you home. Personally, I have bought large duffle bags to do this several times.

Get a map of the city from the TI at #63 Rua do Vilar. Ask the staff to locate these shops for you on your map.

Check in at Pilgrim House, #19 Rua Nova. They can help advise you as well.

Hope this helps.

My friend just bought one yesterday and fit two backpacks into it. We saw several stores selling suitcases in the old town area, and near Plaza Galicia.

I agree. Did the same thing in Salamanca earlier this year. Cost about 12€. Still have it as a back up if I have to take walking poles.
Now on the Frances, left Roncevaux today. Beautiful weather and probably about 200 peregrinos on the Camino. About 20% already limping.
Sad to see.

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).

Hi AJ with our dollar no cheap suitcases in Europe. However you pass a big shopping centre when you come into SDC you can walk orcatch a bus out there and there is a Primark in there ( cheapest store in Europe in my opinion, maybe a large canvas bag would do the trick. I think there is a carefour out there also. It’s about a 25 min walk. Good luck.
