I don`t know that this will make much of a difference to anyone, but I read a sign this morning that said that as of June 23, the time of the morning bus from Muxía to Santiago will change from 7:30 a.m. to 6:45 a.m. There is also one in the late afternoon, which remains unchanged as far as I know. I think that the weekend bus in the morning is unchanged, at 7:30 a,m.

The bus from Muxía to Santiago takes about 2 hours and costs about 6€.

Just did this bus route, was two buses daily from Muxia to Santiago - one early about 6.30 am and other 2.30 pm. But do check for variations, details are up in restaurant window opposite harbour where bus also picks up.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Cool! I was looking for this information. It looks like I'll be able to catch the bus from Muxia to Santiago, wait between one to two hours, and then get the bus to Oporto, Portugal.

Is the bus station the same one for the two buses? Does anyone know?

5 days to start walking my first Camino!

Miguel,
The buses that you will be using to Santiago from Muxia and from Santiago to Portugal arrive and leave from the same bus station in Santiago. Buen Camino!

Hello ~ About how long of a ride is it on the bus from Muxia to Santiago? Once there I will need to catch the train back to Madrid Airport but I expect I'll be staying overnight in a nearby hotel & taking the shuttle to the airport in the morning. I begin walking on September 20th ~ Diane
