Portuguese Central Route from Tui in September
Is there a bus that stops in Tui from Santiago de Compostela ? We are starting our Camino in September from Tui. We are dropping off some luggage in Santiago. We can't seem to find a route that stops in Tui. Thanks in advance.

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
You will probably get advice on a bus or train route here, but as an option you can also book with taxigalacia. Cost around 175€ - not terrible if you have several sharing the cost.

Join the Camino cleanup. Logroño to Burgos May 2025 & Astorga to OCebreiro in June

I would take the bus, but it drops you in Valincia. Not a bad start. The busses drop is just a short walk to the fortress

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
You can take the bus from Santiago to Vigo and there are frequent local buses (not bookable online, pay on the bus) from the bus station in Vigo to Tui.

This!

And when you get to Tui, there isn’t a bus station, just get off when you reach the centre of the town.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
We were able to book tickets to Valenca and will walk accross the bridge to Tui. Thank you for all the help. We were in Santiago last September to look and decide which route to take. I remember passing through Tui on the way to Porto. I can't recall if we stopped or not. Anyway, looking forward to our first Camino. Thank you again !!!

Yes, use local buses: Santiago to Vigo and frm the smae bus terminal, another local bus takes you from there to Tui and/or Valenca do Minho.
