The busses that come up in Rome2Rio serve Pedrafita do Cebreiro proper. It is a small town, not directly on the
Camino Frances, in the valley and at a distance of about 4 km from the village of O Cebreiro itself which is on a mountain top. There’s a lot of taxi traffic from and to O Cebreiro. The end of September may still be busy so it may be a good idea to book a little in advance.
Like in other parts of Galicia, a number of villages form a municipality as an administrative unit. Which is why O Cebreiro and other village along the
Camino Frances, such as Liñares and Fonfría, are all part of the municipality of Pedrafita do Cebreiro.
