I'll be walking the CPI this summer starting in Peso da Regua and wondering about the "alternative" route to Vila Real along the old Corgo River train line. I've seen a photo of the old RR bridge across the river, though, and since the tracks have been ripped up and there are wide gaps in floor of the bridge I'm wondering if I'll be brave enough to walk across it. Any advice???
