Hello all,

Just want to inform everyone that there are bed bugs at the Municipal in Reliegos... quite unfortunate because it was a lovely place. I woke up with approximately 20 bites and a few more have appeared the next night (currently in a private room in Leon - have done all washing and drying of things)

:( buen camino!

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
Quick update, arrived at the Santa María de Carbajal Albergue in León, wanted to be very honest with them and told them about the bites and that my clothes had already been washed and dried. They were SO SO kind and took care of treating my back pack and offered to dry my clothes again for an hour just to be safe. I feel 100% relieved. Such kind and welcoming hospitaleros!

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Twice I have found bedbug bites on myself after arriving in Leon - my first stop there seems to be not the cathedral but the commercial laundromat to put everything in the hot dryer on high heat! I’m never quite sure where I picked up the bites so don’t name any particular albergue, but certainly on the last occasion I stayed in Reliegos at the municipal.
