Along the Camino, I had bean dish several times, but I'm not sure what it's called. It's beans in a reddish-brown sauce, sometimes served with chorizo. The sauce wasn't sweet, like you get with baked beans here in the states, it was more savory. Anyone have any idea what I'm talking about??

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

I don't know what you've eaten on the Camino, but beans (of any kind, e.g. white, butter, black, etc.) slowly simmered (for about an hour or so) in any liquid, e.g. tomatoes, with spices and, of course chopped up chorizo makes a great dish - especially in the winter time.

This sounds like Fabada. If you put Fabada Asturiana into a search engine you should find a recipe.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Which camino did you do?
