I saw the list posted with all the transfer companies for different routes, super helpful! What I haven't seen yet is a good estimation tool/reference for budget consideration. Top Santiago has a way to enter every single stop with an address to get a quote.

But what I was hoping to find was a simple form, something like:

Route: A × Days: Z = €n.00 (estimated)

TIA for any pointers or rules of thumb.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.

When we used Top Santiago in 2022, we paid €7 a pack per segment. The daily rate didn’t change. We arranged our next day’s pickup via WhatsApp and it worked like a charm. In terms of budgeting, use your formula of number of days times the daily rate (it may or may not be different than it was for us two years ago). You’ll get a pretty close approximation of this line item in your budget. With inflation, the harder thing for me to know how to budget would be food and drink. In any case, figure out what you think your daily expenses will be and then add 15% to that figure. Bom Caminho!

Most charg E6 for around the 15kg and around the 28kl.
Have sent 32kl and been accepted.
They have the E6 printed on the bag for your money and destination. As long as your bag is out at the door by 8am all is good

This year I paid 10 euros per bag for single transfers on Camino del Norte. I saw a recent post from someone on Via Francigena that paid 20 euros per bag.

NCS charge €6 per stage for 15kg bag from Roncesvalles to Sarria and €4 per stage from Sarria to SDC. Simply send a WhstsApp evening before, leave money & destinaton in envelope and leave out by 8:00 and Hey Presto! works every stage. Also used NCS last year from Roncesvalles to SDC without a hitch. There are 5 NCS stages. Roncesvalles to Burgos, Burgos to Leon. Leon to Ponferrada & Ponferrada to SDC. Envelopes typically available in Albergues & Hostals/Hotels. Buen Camino!

Train for your next Camino on California's Santa Catalina Island March 16-19
Thanks everyone for all this great advice. We feel much more secure about the financial side of these services. (Had received input about the logistics and ease of use from others.)
