Just arrived yesterday in Leon from Poland. Spain passenger locator form checked on both sides of journey.

Very little other change. Madrid airport was very busy.
Leon had lots of pilgrims. Private albergue had many pilgrims too.
We walked today and met numerous others. We estimate 40 guests in the albergue tonight. Interesting point of note is we have met no English speaking pilgrims yet. All the pilgrims seem to be Italian, French, Basque or Spanish. All facilities open so far. Pretty much business as normal. Many Spanish wearing masks outdoors, some not. Cafes and albergues request that masks are worn when at the counter ordering. For desayuno this morning, we were asked to wait at a table for someone to take our order. Leon had a vibrant evening scene, bit a little less full than previous experiences. In tonight's albergue every second bed is taped off, and late comers are housed in an over flow room, spaced out well. In Leon we were 6 pilgrims in one one room, not ideal, but windows were open and doors. Will post more as we move through Bierzo region.
