Another film to warm the heart and ignite the spirit in these times

While teaching English in Madrid one of my students, a keen surfer and all round outdoor sports fanatic, told me about a film called Fishpeople. I recently read a post on the forum about surfing on the Portuguese coast and it reminded me of the connection of spirit between souls that seek the ocean waves and those of us that prefer the rolling terrain of Caminos (the gentle land waves!).
For those of us who are stuck in a world of restrictions of freedom of movement and feeling a bit frustrated with how the scenarios are panning out, this film may serve as an inspiration for our next adventure, big or small, whether on the sea or on the land.
It's a documentary type film that gives us a window into the lives of six people whose lives are strongly connected by the sea and we see its transformative effects on their lives and those around them.
Enjoy and stay healthy and happy:

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
I'm sitting in my van, the gray daylight has faded. It is damp and this morning a thin crust of wet snow was covering the campground. In a few days the park will be closed to those who seek some solace from the hordes of trailers and motorhomes. The off times outside offer a secret space to enjoy and revitalize.
Going through Ivar's thread I came across your contribution and I began to explore in my mind the next step on the path. I think this winter I'll go north and live with the smaller numbers on the thermometer.
Thank you.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
