Albergue donativo in San Martín de Laspra

Today I walked from Gijón to San Martin de Lespa, about 7 km beyond Avilés (31 km in total), The hospitalero voluntario José restored the priest's house attached to the church and since last July has an albergue which is run by donation only.

José is very welcoming, offered to share lunch with us and there is breakfast. There are only 5 of us so far, all Spanish.

Today was quiet, I met one Dutch woman, an Hungarian and a Spanish man (who continued on to San Martin.

José also told us about an alternate route - El Camino Antiguo - which heads south before Ribadeo. Antiguo because before there was no bridge into Ribadeo. If I can figure how up upload a map he gave me I will start another thread.
