Hi, I'm walking SdC -Finisterre -Muxia- SdC at the start of June and wondered if anyone had experience ( preferably recent) of accommodations along the way. I won't be rushing ( it's an age thing) so allowing myself 7 - 10 days.
I plan (and we all know what happens to Camino plans!🙃) on using a mixture of Albergues/Pensions/Casa Rurals.
Both recommendations and 'avoid at all costs' comments welcome.
Thanks in advance

Municipal Albergue in Negreira
Casa Loncho Olveiro
Monte Aro
Albergue a casa de Boi
Albergue A Casa da Fonte - Cee
Albergue O Rueiro - Vilaserio

I've stayed in all of these and am happy to recommend them to anyone. I've never had a chance to stay in Fisterre so can't recommend there, and have not done the Muxia part yet so you'll have to rely on others for that.

Room was clean, good shower staff great Anna the owner was wonderful!
Good food choices and i thought tasty.
Rooms are above the bar which was full of locals: regarding noise i cant really comment as i stayed the night of the last festival of the year!!!! Four AM and they were still giving it large in the street!
But i think i would stay again ;just not on a festival night🤣

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Albergue Da Costa, Muxia. A bit away from the center (less than 10 min walk) with the ocean across the not busy street. Both an albergue and at least one private room with ensuite bathroom. Open terrace and seating on the upper level. I liked it a lot.

When are you going. I walked to Muxia in late November and all the private hostals /albergues between Santiago and Muxia were closed. The Xunta ones are open all year and are excellent but it means to have to walk according to where they are. I loved the albergue in Dumbia.
In Muxia stayed at the Xunta Albergue for one night and Albergue@Muxia for two nights. Both were good and the hospitalaros were very warm, friendly and helpful. Buen Camino
