Hi all, I am just starting to book for Camino del Norte for May 2025. We will be starting in Bidart. Has anyone got a recommendations for accommodation in Biarritz, Bidart & Saint Jean de luz . Thanks so much 😊

Perfect memento/gift in a presentation box. Engraving available, 25 character max.
I didn't much care for my lodgings in St. Jean de Luz, but my companion stayed in the Hotel Relais Saint-Jacques, and really liked it. It's directly opposite the railway station, just before the bridge over to Ciboure.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
It all depends on what you are looking for in Biarritz. Budget or spending some time there. There is an albergue in La Negresse near the train station that is located along the Camino. It part of larger hostel system and requires paying a nominal membership fee. There are a number of places to eat nearby. After I sold my apartment there, I have always stayed at the Hotel St. James which is located on the corner of the very active and engaging Marche area.

Thank you. We just got one night in Biarritz then onto Badart to start the Camino .

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
You can easily walk from Biarritz to St. Jean de Luz in a day. It is 18km along the Corniche. I lived on the south side of Biarritz and walked to Bidart and back for lunch many times. That route was my warm-up for the Camino.

Thanks. Sounds like a great plan ☺️
