We had same problem last year but trudged on in dark to next village and stayed at Os Castanos, Galicia, spain
Great spot with good bar and fabulous meals for dinner and breakfast .
We stayed in the same place in March, 2024 (oscastanos@oscastanos.es) Made reservations via email. Agree with all above and the "breakfast" they packed for us feed us all day!
Hi, we stayed at Hostal Santa Baia, Ribadumia, 67e bed and breakfast. It was 15km to Vilanova de Arousa the following day. Its location is off the camino, at a bridge, turn right for 500m. There are signs for it. There is a bar nearby. We got a nice meal in a bodega served by the owner, with their own wine. The lady of Santa Baia told us about it. There was no sign outside and it was popular with locals.
The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Have you tried Carballo de Prado?
You could stay in Combarro, and then walk through Armentiera to Ribodumia and stay at Oscantanos@oscantanos.es ( small hotel with great food).
