Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
An enterprising soul could buy one of those and travel up and down the Camino in one of those little white vans, treating backpacks all along the way...like a mini-"Ghost Busters" service :D

Cheaper than a visit from a bedbug exterminator ... Prevention is better/cheaper than the cure. BC SY

Imagine the number of hotel stays $500 or about 400€ could provide on the next Caamino? And, in about a half hour, 3€ will clear any bedbugs in a dryer cycle, yes?

Ok, there seems to be a misunderstanding regarding this device:

It is meant to put ALL your gear in it (be careful with electronics!) and heat it up to the point that neither bed bugs nor their eggs survive - making it save to bring all your travel stuff home without having to fear that you "import" unwanted new guests.

This device has been around for quite some time and is geared towards the busy/frequent traveler and yes, the underlying principle is sound.

It is not geared towards travelers that have easy access to a dryer and also, not all of these dryers can accommodate the travel gear some people carry around.

Horses for courses ...
