2016 August Peregrinos Departures

Hi! My name is Tiffani, and this is my first post here, although I have consulted the site dozens of times. I am starting from SJPP on August 29, like Tommy. How do I find Tommy...? Thanks to the moderator for listing everyone's starting dates. That's helpful.
I am getting very nervous...but know it will be a wonderful experience :-)

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Starting in SJPdP on 29th August
Hi Tommy, I am also starting from SJPP on August 29. Perhaps we'll run into each other. I am staying at the Beilari in SJPP on August 28. (as an aside: I lived in Glencoe, Scotland, for a summer. I worked at the Clachaig Inn there. Beautiful country and people!)

Hey Tiffany, I'm starting out from Bayonne, getting the train into SJPdP and arriving at 0845. Would be great to bump into you that morning in St Jean before heading out. Nice to hear you like my wee country :) Where are you from?

No worries! Orisson usually needs reservations because they are small and fill up quickly. You must be walking to Roncesvalles for your first day, start early, that's a long first day! Good news, I've been watching the weather and it should be a clear, beautiful walk over the Pyrenees! I'm so excited!!

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.

Have ye booked accommodation in SJPP? Is it necessary?

I have no ideea, i also try to figure that out. From what i read people from the pilgrims office will guide us to get some accomodation...If you book something let me know :)

Will do. I'd say I'll wing it though and not book anything. Should arrive into SJPP around 4:30 so hoping to get a bed. See you there hopefully

i will arrive in the same time as you, the train from Bayonne arrives at 4 so i guess we will meet at the pilgrim's office! :) (if you see a scared girl with dark skin that would be me) :))))

:) Haha. I'd say I'm on the same train actually in Bayonne. If you see an Irish guy trying to speak French but confusing the locals that would probably be me! ;)
