Hi good folks,
Last year I obtained a credential in SJPP and walked to Burgos (May-June). This year I will resume the walk in Burgos and hopefully get to Santiago. 1) Should I re-register and get a new credential or can I continue to use the credential I obtained last year? 2) Is there an...
We are going to start walking the Camino Frances in early May, and we are looking to buy a fanny pack that can hold on to our passport to have easy access when stopping in to get a stamp checking into Aurberges. I understand the Passport might be large, so please can anyone tell us what the...
Hello! I'm trying to figure out what the size of the passport is unfolded. I'd like to have a custom floating frame made that shows both sides. Thanks in advance!
Hello, I am starting a camino from Valenca near to Tui next week. Can I get credentials there? Or could I get them in SDCompostella as my plane lands there before I get a bus to Valenca?
Hi Everyone,
My husband and I will be starting the Norte (and then Primativo) 16th of May. We have decided we don't want to start in Irun and would prefer to start from Hondarribia. Does anyone know of somewhere to purchase a credencial there?
Thanks in advance.

On a commercial website with camino souvenirs I came across this credencial.
I quite like the design but wonder if it is actually recognized by the Pilgrims' Office in Santiago?
Is it issued by any of the official Pilgrim Associations?
Maybe those who have served there could comment please?
Hi fellow pilgrims! I am curious what others have done when they have walked past Santiago to Finisterre. Did you get your credential once you first arrived in Santiago or did you come back to the Pilgrim's office after coming back to the city after completing your trip to Finisterre?
I am not posting this to start a debate about the value of the compostela. For me, the certificate was meaningful and a treasure I will always cherish.
That being said, I find it interesting that the midway Compostella is a much nicer certificate. It is thicker and professional lettering, as...
I have walked many times on the Camino since 1998 and the last bit from Saria is a boring mess . Some sights but always a hurry to get a bed and on the next morning very early. The first & second time exciting, but after not so much- The rule of walking at least 100 K to “qualify “for a...
Igreja de Santiago
I'm arriving in Lisbon on April 18th to begin my Camino to Santiago.
I'd desired my first stamp to be from this church.
Do they offer a stamp?
A site for the church states that it's only open on Sundays at 9am and Wed 530pm. except August.
I'm willing to put my departure off...
Hi all!
In 2019 I did part of the Via Podiensis (Figeac to St Antoine). This year I am going back to walk from Le Puy to SJPP. I plan to do the detour to Rocamadour (thus missing a lot of what I did previously and taking in that beautiful place). Can I use the same credencial that I used in...
Hi there,
Doing my first camino in April, and was researching things when I found this site.
Its a list of different sellos from the camino, 3600+ cataloged.
You can select the route and stops to see whats there from the area.

Hi. I will be walking the Camino in May of this year and my friends and I want to walk from Arzua to Finesterre -- 82 miles. We will not be going to Muxia. If we end this way, are we still able to get our Compostela Certificate in Santiago?
Hi,
Does anyone have any up to date information on where we can get a credential in Bilbao late June? The threads on the forum are a few years old (pre-COVID) and I am not sure if the Cathedral is still an option or even still, the only option?
Thanks in advance.

Following on from my distance certificate question, this is also something I've been wondering about.
I live close to a monastery on an official Jakobsweg (German route to the Camino) route. Coincidentally I work a few hundred meeters from a cloister/ nunnery 20km further along the official...
Hi
I've started with the (North) Munich Jakobsweg - although there are official marked and signposted Jakobsweg (Camino) routes, there are no stamps available on a lot of the early stages. I wrote my start point into the credential but although there's a working monastery with a church and the...
I would like to get a distance certificate along with my Compostela when I finish the Camino. Last year I walked from SJPP to Los Arcos. I had to cut my Camino short due to Covid. This year I am starting in Pamplona. When I get to Santiago will I be able to get a distance certificate for 800km...
