    Is it necessary to take a light jacket for the Camino Frances in early June ? I am taking a light fleece pullover and rain poncho. I don't want to take a jacket if it is not necessary. Any information on what clothing to take at the beginning of June would be great. thanks

    This is my first Camino and I will begin about the 8th June. Can you please tell me if I will need anymore than a lighweight fleece for warmth and a rain poncho at that time of year? I have debating whether to take a light jacket but don't want to carry the extra weight.

    I am happy to hear this Julia as I am traveling on the Camino at the end of next week and have been hearing some horror stories about there being no beds. I did not want to have to book ahead for the accommodation. thanks Karen
