    Looks great Taff. Pretty similar to mine, except I skipped the sandals and most of the first aid, used a jacket rather than poncho and carried a sleeping bag. Didn't take a bumbag or poles.     A general "don't bring/don't pack" in your attitude kit

    I don’t think we can change people with entrenched prejudices, but I think it’s important to signal when someone crosses the line into misogyny and racism. Bigots need to know that not all people feel the way they do.

    Buying comfortable shoes for Hiking or ...?

    My MOAB Speeds developed a bump inside at one of the toes, turned one of my toenails black. I had to find a substitute pair of shoes at the last minute. Otherwise, Speeds are great shoes, good strong soles.

    Hi all. I'm planning to walk from Le Puy on the Via Podiensis for a few weeks starting some time in September 2025. Is there are date in September when walker numbers drop off or is it pretty busy right through September? Thanks for any advice on this.
