About the "do it while you can" philosophy - take heed.

A friend I made while walking was diagnosed with cancer 1 month after arriving home. My husband had a stroke and then bypass surgery only 2 months after my return (thank God it didnt happen while I was away).

Read an article about a guy who had very late stage cancer. Went through hell, came out cancer free, then literally less than a year later stepped out in front of a bus. My take on it? Do what you can while you can, yesterday is a cashed check, tomorrow is a promissory note. Today is ready cash, use it wisely.
