Hi. I’ve just joined the forum. I’m not good with apps or IT thingy so I hope I’m doing the right thing. My apologies admin if it’s not. I’m hoping to do the Camino Frances solo to start between mid or last week in April 2025. I’ve not booked my flights yet. I’m 71 years old female and will be walking solo. I’ve done a few research. I walk slow and keep the kms to a minimum that I can manage on the day. I understand I have to post five times before I can connect with the threads?

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Welcome, RockyCamino.I’ve moved your post out of the calendar thread and have sent some instructions to you privately about the 5 post rule. If you have more questions let us know, once you get the hang of it, the forum is pretty easy to use.

There are lots of us in your age demographic, and we are always glad to welcome another!

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
Hi and welcome. I am also a 71 years young female who walks alone. You have definitely come to the right place and in my opinion you are walking the best route for a first Camino. Look at the website gronze.com it shows distance in kilometres, elevation and accommodation. Also good is the John Brierley guide which is great for planning. Your Camino starts now enjoy
