It doesn’t seem very crowded (we missed the mass). But near Conques people seem to be having a bit of difficulty finding accommodation so perhaps a good idea to book ahead.

I loved Espeyrac and its attractive French architecture, but can't recall this cute place.
May I ask how long each picture takes you on average, to draw and paint from start to finish while on your camino?
Depends on the amount of detail - it takes a while, say 6-8 hours. I like finishing the daily walks by 2 or 3 and then drawing until dinner. :)

Very time consuming for you. I so appreciate your commitment to paint, and then sharing your awesome artwork with all of us! They make me smile.😃

Are you having any challenges finding available beds since most gîtes close at some point in October? I am considering starting from Le Puy instead of St Jean next week and am concerned I will have to skip stages if nothing’s open especially in early November. Thanks for your help and for sharing your wonderful art!

Sadly we only walked from Le Puy to Conques this year. I envy you being able to walk longer…. I booked everything ahead of time, that’s how I roll. Not as adventurous as others on the Camino! Good luck….

My french friend tells me that’s the most beautiful stretch of the whole Via Podiensis! I would much prefer to book it all in advance too but when I last walked the Francés I was too ambitious with my planning and got injured. Hopefully it will feel adventurous and not stressful LOL.
