Time of past OR future Camino

Hi. We start our Camino early Monday morning. We arrive in SJPDP on Sunday afternoon and just wondering whether shops/supermarkets will be open so that we can stock up on a few supplies for Monday. We plan to have breakfast at Orisson. Many thanks for any advice

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
You can also get a lunch to go at Orrison (sandwich) and there is usually a food truck further up as well.

Also looks like Carrefour grocery is open on Sunday in St Jean.

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
There are a number of shops on the main "pilgrim route" walking out of town after you cross the bridge heading west. They are open on Sunday for the tourist trade and open early in the morning to offer freshly baked baguettes and will prepare sandwiches for you as well. I suspect the Lidl store is open for a few hours on Sunday it is slightly north of town.

Thank you very much for this information

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-

Carrefour Market -- Sunday 8:30 AM–12:30 PM ; will be similar at the Aldi and the Intermarché.

There is a little épicerie on the Way, just over the bridge, on the Rue d'Espagne. Opening hours : Monday to Saturday : 9 AM -1 PM & 3:30 PM - 7 PM

So if you're starting earlier than 9 AM, then you're out of luck, as everything will be closed on Sunday afternoon.

There will be restaurants, bakeries and cafés open in the morning. You can order something to take with you. Don't worry, you won't starve.

Sometimes you can order lunch at your albergue. I stayed at Beilari and their lunch was super handy as the food cart up in the hills only had a limited offering - bananas and boiled eggs - other snacks and drinks.
