Bones found in north-west Spain could be legendary bishop’s, scientists believe

New examination supports claim remains are of Teodomiro, a key figure in establishing Camino de Santiago pilgrimage

It turns out some stories about Santiago have been right all along.

Beat me to it. I was going to post this link. It is an interesting article as it sheds light not only on the early history of the pilgrimage to Compostela but also on how very modern technology informs us about the past.
