St. James, who?

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Yes, he is mentioned a few times in the Gospels and also wrote one of the New Testament epistles (the epistle of James).
Chapter 12 of the book of Acts is the place to go to for facts about his death.
I wish more people would read (and re-read) the book of Acts. It narrates the years of the early *church after the Resurrection and it always surprises people who have wrong assumptions about the disciples.
*The Greek word translated as "church" in the New Testament is ἐκκλησία ("ekklesia") and means "called-out ones". In other words it refers to PEOPLE.
It does not mean "building" or "institution". As we see in the early chapters of Acts, the "followers of the Way" (as they were known (see early chapters of Acts) before being called "Christians" for the first time: Acts 11:26) met in one another's homes.

The Apostle James, Patron Saint of Spain, actually did not write the NT Epistle James.
That was authored by James, Jesus brother.
