Eight routes; nine pilgrimages 2014-present
Looking at the planning website, it seems like this at least a two-day long food-haul from the grocery store in Duved. I would avoid that if I could because my very petite wife really cannot carry food weight, and therefore it falls on my back (and my newly reconstructed knee). Despite what the website says in one place, email communications make it clear that Skalstugan has no food available for pilgrims (although they do seem to have nice accommodations). Anyone found a solution for this other than just carrying food for two days?

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
I stayed at Adallsvollen. The pilgrim stay has dried food and home made food. Along with bread spreads cheese and things. Which I think is the standard available along the way.

The inclusive stay with dinner and breakfast is 990 kr. Which the hospitalero said is the standard price. You can buy more, but costs mount up quick. One of the reasons I came off the trail today

Walking from there to Virdal on the 322 road, I found one garage cum cafe which has food supplies. There is a road leading to Vuku from there.

But throughout I've had hiker hunger.

Drone delivery. Hire a porter. Fasting. Chuck

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.
