An article on the El Correo website reporting on very high occupancy rates at the albergue in Markina on the Camino del Norte. Full almost daily.

The article refers to the albergue at the convent. It would be interesting to know about the Albergue Intxauspe, a very hospitable and welcoming spot across the highway from the town center.

I was at Intxauspe ladt night. It was full. They even put up an extra bed for a pilgrim. Lovely place.
