Autocares Artieda as mentioned by @Bradypus in post #2 is the only official bus to Roncesvalles from Pamplona that I know of. If you want to risk things there is also Alsa but they are only supposed to stop to in Roncesvalles to pick up...
This is the website for the local bus to/from Pamplona. By mid September there is probably only one per day at 13:30. Timetables don't usually change much but do check nearer the time.
