G“Scathing” is proportional in this situation. What good will it do? Preventing someone else from a similar encounter. As far as harm, it is not my job to shield another person from the consequences of their choices. Not my burden to carry.

I stayed at 12 Tribes last year. Yes, they’re a religious group, but it’s also a safe, reasonably priced place to stay for a night. And it is really beautiful there.
