In my experience you just have to add their Priority option , with one backpack and priority option i never had any issues with Ryanair or Wizzair .

I take half a shampoo bar and use it to wash everything.

You can buy shampoo bars now, same size as soap bars, and you can probably also use it and as soap. Eco friendly too.
