I’ve used the Buen Camino app. It is very good at GPS location and elevation. When in doubt, I did find myself using my phone as somewhat of a divining rod walking in many directions to see if I were in the right path :-)
The information is confusing. We ended in Fisterre 2 days ago and were told no bus or taxi service today (Oct 28). The buses were not operating from Fisterre to Santiago today … but we did have no issue for a taxi … for a measly €110 🤣.
I walked Irun to SdC last year and am now on Norte with my wife (Santander to SdC). Am I not recalling things very well or have many of the routes changed from last year? For example, I recall walking along a highway between Luarca and La Caridad...
