Early this morning I only walked out to my backyard, but the frozen estuary in the sunrise was spectacular. Hoping to get back out to the woods today if the wind dies down a little, still have to protect that right eye. Fingers-crossed. -

Snow this night and then this morning thaw and rain. Masses of rain. The whole 7.5 km. And wind! The pictures are not streams but roads completely saturated. Done for the day! 😛

A fabulous 14km on Schiermonikoog, one of the West Frisian Islands. It was not warm...but after awful weather yesterday, we had the first sun in a week. More birds than you can shake a stick at...and a beautiful sky rom beginning to end.

I saw these on the Primitivo as well, also in other colors , including purples and whites. I think they are African Daisies, but there may be a more technical name. I think, but am not sure, that they are cultivated as ornamental flowers, but...
