Hi,
We are planing to hike during May from Conques to Auvillar.
We had a great experience with the service of the Malle postale during the first part of the Camino.
1/ Can you advice if there is a similar service that we can use for baggage once we'll pass Cahors ?
2/ What would be the easiest way back from Auvillar to Paris ?
Thanks
Sharon

Hi
In 2016 this baggage transport service was very reliable (after Conques to Sjpdp ) I needed it for the last week into Sjpdp.
Transport Claudine.
Phone. 0562286792

For return travel to Paris from Auvillar., you can get an idea from. https://www.rome2rio.com/

Just put in your selected ‘from’ and ‘to’ points.

Bon chemin

My friends used Transport Claudine after Cahors, too. There was absolutly no problem. You will be fine.

We planned yo end in Moissac where train connections are good, but had a couple of unplanned free days,, so we walked on to Auvillar, spent the night, then walked back to Moissac along the canal path and spent our last night before taking the train back to CDG. We stayed the night at an airport hotel with free shuttle service to the airport.
We booked our train tickets ahead of time through trainline.eu and paying with a credit card was bery easy.

Thanks Camino Chris,
I checked in rome2 and it seems that we can take the train from Auvillar. I'm going to re-check.

No trains from Auvillar, but Valence, on the Toulouse - Bordeaux line, is only 10 minutes (6km) away by taxi.

Transports Claudine is good and relaiable.

Bon Chemin!
