Camino Primitivo - stores?

I am planning a Camino Primitivo in May 2025, according to the gronze website, but also from the street view on the maps, there is no store (tienda) in Borres and Ferreira. Has anyone seen the store? In turn, there is a store (tienda) in Berducedo, but it is not visible on the street view - where is it hidden?

Hello Este, I can't answer with confidence on a store in Borres, but we've walked through twice and didn't see one. Others can join in on this question.

There's a good store available in Campiello with lots of options. This is where most people who are staying in Borres and walking the Hospitales route gear up for that section.

The store in Berducedo is very small. It's not much bigger than my living room. If you see where you walk into town and go right towards the Autoservicio and Bar el Cafetin. It's right about there. It might actually be the Autoservicio, but that does not align with the sign, but it was right there or next door.

May is an awesome time to go. Both times we walked the Primitivo was in late May, into June. It is beautiful!

Borres is like 10 houses. I think there was a vending machine. You can do some shopping in Campiello, but a bit pricy, or Tineo, but further away.
Ferreira is even smaller. I am not sure if some of the albergues will sell you whatever (we just bought dinner and breakfeast at our albergue). Again, there is a vending machine about halfway from Lugo or full featured stores in Lugo.
As for Berducedo, there is a small shop which had a bit of everything. Right next to a bar that makes a decent breakfeast.

Estes, consider staying in Aribas de Colinas. It's a great place with really lovely people who run the place. There is a route up to the Hospitales route right outside their door.

They do a very hefty dinner (an enormous plate of chicken on rice and a salad) , a nice breakfast and, if you ask, they'll make you a sandwich to take with you in the morning for lunch.

@Este, I can but Echo the comments above.
No store in Borres - I don't recall a vending machine there either; the ones I remember were in Escamplero (useful if you're there outside of the opening times of the restaurant and tiny Tienda) and Gondar.

I was advised both prior to walking and by Alison at Bodenaya to stock up in Campiella. If you do stay in Borres you can ask the bar to make you a packed lunch.

As @Anhalter says, the store in Berducedo is right beside the bar ( they are run by the same people, the service personnel actually have a passage in between). Whilst they don't have much they do at least have fruit, chocolate, tuna, chippies etc.
Turn right when you hit the main street and you'll find it. The bar is an excellent spot for a coffee and a fresh OJ after the Hospitales, especially if you're continuing on to La Mesa (it's only 5k's more).

The woman who runs the only bar in Borres, El Barín, is an actual true-blue Camino Mother. If she has it, she will sell it to you if you ask. We had a sick albergue mate and asked her if she had any plain white rice she could sell us. We could cook it in the albergue for the sick one. She had it and she sold it to us. She was so very, very kind and asked if there was anything else we needed. Plus, for her pilgrim meals, the portions she cooks up are huge and delicious. All served with love and kindness.

And yes, if the bar isn't open, I can vouch for the vending machine just as you climb the hill leaving town. Google says it's temporarily closed, so it may be only a seasonal thing. By May, no problem.
