Hi folks, my name is Teresa and just arrived in Vigo (staying at Hotel O Pazo) and wondering where I get my first stamp? I would image that you need an initial stamp to indicate where you began. BTW, I’m from Calgary, AB Canada.

If anyone is at same location, would like to meet and chat.

You can get a stamp at your hotel. You will need two stamps each day, which you can get at any bar or café you stop in along with churches or other places of interest.

If you want a Compostela you need two stamps each day in the final 100 km to Santiago. It should say it at the top of your credential.

Yup. Homework, or a little study, always comes in handy.

I’m minded that Gods tend to help those that helps themselves. The parable of the truck, the boat and the helicopter always comes to mind

Hi Teresa, first thing is have a sit down and rest for a bit. Have a look for accommdation options close to you. The camino app should be able to help you there, or look at google maps or book...com.
Give these a try and if there is nothing close then look a bit further away, and think of getting a taxi if its too far for you to walk.

Lots of accommodation in Redondela, and you might find a walking partner there

thank you. My dilemma now that I have had rest is that do I return to where I left off and start from there or continue from downtown Vigo.

Where did you start, and how far did you go?
