Correos: can I call them to send my package to another Correos office?

My stuff is currently waiting for me at the Correos in Lugo, Spain. But it turns out I won't be there to pick it up.

Can I call/email them, to ship my stuff to another Correos office (like the one in SdC, or elsewhere)? Has anyone done this?

TIA!

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
If you have received an email from Correos with the confirmation of sending the parcel / arrival of your package, you should be able to use the password and change the location. AFAIK this can be done within the province, so for instance Lugo - Madrid won't be possible.
You cannot change the location by simply calling them - computer says NO. so follow the instructions in the email.

I’m struggling to think of any sufficiently organised country I’ve visited where that might be possible. The only candidate I can offer is Switzerland - but they would probably require the signatures of all four grandparents.

The Paq Peregrino service allows you to ship a backpack or suitcase from A to B.
Could you use this to move your stuff from Lugo to where you want it to be?

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.

I tried that on the VdlP last year.
Tried calling, asking at another Correos along the way.
Whilst technically possible, no one could make it happen.

Tip for future… (that I learned here)

Make the return address the Correos in Santiago.

That’s how I got it back. (the period of storage ran out - 15 days I think - and it got returned to sender)
