I was treated to a nice welcome lunch there on my first arrival in 2011.

Reminds me of my charming 2021 room at the Hostal Siglo XIX in Cacabelos, with its spacious enclosed balcony overlooking the town church.

Yes, really great place, stayed there in 17 and 18. A fabulous breakfast buffet and just around the corner from Sobrinos del Padre, one of my favourite restaurants in Santiago.

I think you might find that is a bottle of Usquaebach - Water of Life.

It appears only breakfast. The new proprietor is very lovely.

That was my "Hurt Foot Camino" and I was keeping daily distances down.... Walked from Ponferrada to Cacabelos, and the next day from Cacabelos to Villafranca. Two short, easy, delightful days!
