Escamplero Albergue

Hi, I’m planning on staying over at the municipal albergue in Escamplero in a week’s time. Anyone stayed there recently? Six years ago I spent the first hour cleaning the place before I unpacked . Does it still have a fridge and microwave? Is there a shop in the village, or just the pension / restaurant? Thanks for any recent updates.

I stayed there this summer. The albergue was clean and still had a working fridge and microwave. The tienda was closed when I got there, but there is a small one, and the restaurant.

Stayed there in May. Everything was clean. Uncrowded with only 4 pilgrims and had a room to myself. Left Oviedo after lunch and took food for evening meal, then had breakfast in Grado. Microwave and fridge.
