Hi guys,

I'm really happy to start with the camino from Sarria, it's my first experience. Unfortunately, I have a flight arriving at 11pm on 19 August, so I'd have to move to Sarria in the evening to start the walk early in the morning (unfortunately, I don't have many days). I've checked buses and trains, but they seem to be unavailable at that time. There's a taxi option, but I'm wondering if anyone would like to share? Do you have any other suggestions?

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
The bus trip is only two hours, so could you not just take it the following morning and then start walking?
Maybe stay the night at Albergue La Estacion in Santiago so you would be close to the station for the earliest bus???

It looks like there is only one Monbus bus per day at 11:00.

A taxi would be quite expensive and the chance of finding someone to share at such a usual time is very very small. Additionally, you won’t arrive until after 1am in Sarria, so you’ll need to prebook a hotel with a 24hr desk or a key safe, which may be hard to find. I think waiting until morning and taking the bus or taxi-share or BlaBlaCar is a far better solution and less likely to create issues for you.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Yes looks like you need to adjust your plan, you're heading to a slow paced more rural area with limited facilities. A lot as 'Trecile' commented is going to depend on how much time you have. I think if you share that people may have ideas to help you.

I would just get a hotel to get some sleep, get an early train or bus and start walking when you arrive. Just my opinion
