Madrid to Lugo and where to obtain our Pilgrim Credencial.

Good morning from Canada.
In October we will walk from Lugo to Santiago de Compostela.
We fly from Canada to Madrid
As direct trains don't appear to be an option. What is the best or most popular way to get from Madrid to Lugo in a reasonable amount of time?
Also, where can we easily obtain our Pilgrim Passport?

ALSA run buses direct from Madrid airport to Lugo. An alternative would be train to Santiago then a Monbus to Lugo.

Hi from Calgary! You can get a pilgrim passport (credenciale) from the Canadian Company of Pilgrims https://www.santiago.ca/credencials-and-badges/ Depending on what city you live in there may be a local chapter of the CCP.
