Not always. I had a student with a gluten allergy last winter and a lot of times there were some gluten free breakfast cakes or cookies. We did not find actual bread. Santiago cake is also gluten free and made of almond flour. There are gluten free noodles in some of the stores.Do supermarkets in the towns between Sarria and Santiago generally sell gluten free bread etc?

They have also had the healtiest range of "regular" items including fruit and vegetables
